NAME: Ananda

AGE: 14

DIAGNOSIS: TMJ ankylosis

TREATMENT DONE: Aggressive resection of b/l ankylotic mass and b/l coronoidectomy

Patient presented with a complaint of inability to open the mouth since 4 years.

The diagnosis was made as Bilateral TMJ Ankylosis. On further blood investigations, he was found to be infected with Hepatitis B.

Operation was carried out to release the bony fusion of skull to lower jaw to increase the mouth opening and jaw movements which in turn assists in the growth of the lower jaw and rehabilitates the patient.
